SWAF Advisory Committee

The Southwest Adaptation Forum Advisory Committee is comprised of recognized Tribal environmental professionals who are leaders in climate adaptation and represent a diverse composition of Indigenous Nations in California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. Despite the uncertainties of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Advisory Committee continued to meet on a monthly basis to not only vision the next Southwest Adaptation Forum, but strengthened their relationship and connections as a southwest tribal climate network. The vision of the Advisory Committee was to weave the diverse perspectives and interests into all elements of the SWAF's programming. Together, they have aimed to strengthen existing and build new relationships among partners in the region, identify gaps in existing networks, and generate synergy and momentum for future engagement among partners.
