DAY ONE
A Model for Transformational Adaptation
Day one featured an interactive experience exploring the Connecting Wildlands and Communities project, a model for advancing transformational adaptation through interdisciplinary collaboration to support resilience for ecosystems and local communities.

DAY THREE
Climate Conversations
Day three served as an opportunity for roundtable conversations focused on overcoming challenges to fire and forest management in the Southwest. Forum attendees had the opportunity to actively engage with practitioners, leaders, and researchers across topics related to fire management, cultural burning, and emerging initiatives throughout the region.
2021 SWAF Summary
This past year has taught us a great deal about adaptation and resilience, but also about how to bring our community together in new and creative ways.
Building on takeaways from 2018, the 2021 Southwest Adaptation Forum convened leaders, practitioners, and researchers from across the Southwest to explore efforts advancing climate change adaptation and resilience.
